Room
Mate Migueletes
Room Mate Migueletes is a 17th century
mansion with galleries and the typical
Andalusian courtyard. The hotel owes
its name to having been the main base
of the famous troops “Migueletes”,
a kind of rural police of the time.
This interesting name derives from
a type of long shotgun called “Miguelete”
invented in Spain. The mansion was
declared in ruin in 1995 by the city
council and was then restored to be
converted into a hotel of 25 rooms.
A
delicate and detailed restoration
by architect/restoration expert Carlos
Sánchez
was able to integrate perfectly all
the historic elements of the building. |
