From Latin pop to acid jazz, this summer the key festival is called Rock in Rio and will be held from 27 June until 6 July at the Ciudad del Rock in Arganda del Rey. On 4 July, we will have top performances from Shakira,  Jamiroquai, Amy Winehouse and James Morrison.

Following five successful editions, Rock in Rio comes to Madrid in June 2008. On the 27th and 28th of June, and July 4, 5 and 6, Arganda del Rey will be one of the venues for the festival that, for the first time in its history, will be held simultaneously in two cities, since Lisbon will once again host Rock in Rio in 2008. The British group The Police will perform in Valencia as part of their world tour to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of their chart debut. This concert is to be the first of three that the band has scheduled in Spain.
