Sweet is the stage name of Ana López, a folk-pop singer-songwriter from Malaga, who at the tender age of  seven began composing her first songs.  She is one of a long list of Spanish indie musicians making music that reaches a larger audience, even one that may not be such a big fan of the genre.  Her album ‘Start, Restart, Undo,’ released in April of this year, is sure to be a big hit.

Echo & The Bunnymen made post-punk a grown-up sound thanks to key works such as  ‘Crocodiles’ (1980), ‘Porcupine’ (1983) and ‘Ocean rain’ (1984). Their melodies have inspired, and continue to inspire countless musicians in different styles.  After breaking up, this band from Liverpool made a successful comeback in the 1990’s.
